One bottle treats up to 64 gallons at the standard winter rate, or 32 gallons at 1/2 fl oz per gallon.
Cold-weather protection for your diesel fuel system
Opti-Lube Winter Cold Flow Anti-Gel Diesel Fuel Additive helps keep diesel flowing as temperatures drop. Its concentrated, multifunction formula helps prevent fuel gelling while improving lubricity to reduce wear on injectors, fuel pumps, and other fuel system components.
Winter cleans injectors, helps reduce deposits, and protects against rust and corrosion. Its demulsifier improves water separation, while added cetane supports easier cold starts, faster warm-ups, and smoother combustion. The formula also helps improve fuel economy and fuel storage stability.
Winter formula benefits
- Helps fuel flow down to -40°F, depending on base fuel and treatment rate.
- Enhances lubricity to help reduce fuel system wear.
- Cleans injectors and protects against rust and corrosion.
- Boosts cetane by up to 3 points to support cold starts and engine performance.
- Improves water separation and helps maintain fuel quality.
- Compatible with biodiesel and all vehicle emissions systems; contains no harmful alcohols.
A convenient bottle for winter fill-ups
Keep a filled 16oz dosing bottle ready for your next fill-up. The built-in measuring chamber makes it easy to portion the additive for the amount of diesel you are treating.
What is included
- One filled 16oz dosing bottle of Opti-Lube Winter (16 US fl oz total).
- Each bottle treats up to 64 gallons at 1/4 fl oz per gallon, or 32 gallons at 1/2 fl oz per gallon.
Higher treatment rates reduce the total number of gallons treated.
Winter treatment directions
- Standard cold-weather treatment, below 32°F (0°C): Add 1/4 US fl oz per gallon of diesel fuel (1:512).
- Extreme cold, below -20°F (-29°C): Add 1/2 US fl oz per gallon or more, as directed on the label (1:256 or stronger).
Mix while both the fuel and additive are above the fuel cloud point and at least 40°F (5°C). Treat before the fuel gels. Cold-flow performance depends on the base fuel and treatment rate. Follow the product label for complete directions. All volumes are US measures.
