Gasoline Additives FAQ
Answers about Gas Enhance, gasoline applications, treatment and handling. Follow the directions on your current bottle and your engine manufacturer’s fuel requirements.
Select a question to read the answer.
Will using Gas Enhance affect my warranty?
Gas Enhance is formulated for gasoline fuel systems and emissions equipment when used as directed. Use the labeled dose and follow your engine manufacturer’s fuel and maintenance requirements.
Warranty coverage depends on the vehicle or equipment manufacturer’s warranty terms. Check your owner’s manual or contact the manufacturer for a warranty-specific question. Contact us for Gas Enhance application help.
What types of gasoline engines can use Gas Enhance?
Gas Enhance is intended for gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment, including carbureted, port-injected and direct-injected fuel systems. It can be used in suitable large and small gasoline engines when the label and engine manufacturer’s requirements are followed.
Use Gas Enhance in the gasoline fuel tank at its labeled rate. Choose a diesel additive for diesel fuel and follow separate instructions for oil additives. If you are unsure about a particular application, contact us with the engine and fuel type.
How much Gas Enhance should I use?
Follow the treatment rate on the current Gas Enhance bottle and product page. The dose depends on the product and amount of gasoline being treated.
Use fluid ounces for additive volume and gallons for fuel volume. Diesel additive treatment rates do not apply to Gas Enhance. Contact us if a bottle label and online direction appear to disagree.
How do I add Gas Enhance to gasoline?
Measure the labeled Gas Enhance dose and add it directly to the gasoline fuel tank, preferably before or during fueling. Incoming fuel and normal fuel movement help mix it.
Use only in the application stated on the label. Do not add gasoline fuel additive to the engine oil or a DEF tank.
Does Gas Enhance contain PEA?
Does Gas Enhance replace the gasoline grade or oil my engine requires?
No fuel additive should be used as a reason to disregard the engine manufacturer’s required gasoline grade, fuel specification or lubrication instructions. Do not substitute Gas Enhance for required two-stroke or rotary premix oil. Contact us before using it in a specialized or unlisted application, including aviation.
Can I use diesel additive directions or mix in another treatment?
Diesel additive doses and compatibility statements do not apply to Gas Enhance. Use its own label directions. If gasoline already contains another aftermarket treatment, contact us with the product names, amounts and fuel quantity before adding more.
Does shelf life of the additive tell me how long treated gasoline will last?
No. Additive shelf life and treated-fuel storage life are different. Fuel composition, ethanol content, storage container and conditions affect the storage plan. Use fuel approved for your engine and follow the current product directions rather than assuming a universal storage period.
