Lithium Block Grease
Opti-Lube Lithium Block Grease is a hard block lubricant made with a lithium 12-hydroxy soap thickener. It is intended for equipment that requires this grease chemistry and a solid block format. Use the equipment specification to identify the right lubrication point, consistency and service conditions.

Where this formula fits
Start here when the equipment calls for a lithium-based hard block grease. Mining and industrial machinery are the main application families shown in the guide. For ball mills, confirm the exact lubrication point and the machine’s required grease before ordering.
Before choosing: Match the specified lithium chemistry and block consistency. An industry name alone does not establish suitability for every bearing, gear or lubrication system.

Reading the test values: Dropping point is not a maximum operating temperature. Worked and unworked penetration tests use different sample conditions; do not use them as a single hardness ranking across all formulas.
Before putting it into service
Confirm the grease specification for the exact lubrication point, the required block consistency and grease-feed fit. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s procedure for changing products, replenishing grease and inspecting the component.
