Treatment and use
Measure the additive for the amount of diesel being treated and follow the directions on the container label. The warm-weather label lists 1–2 fl oz per 20 US gallons above 32°F (0°C). Boost! can be used at any temperature, including below 32°F (0°C). It does not provide cold-weather anti-gel protection. Use the higher listed rate for maximum cetane boost and quicker fuel-injection clean-up. The “up to” treatment capacity uses the lower listed rate; doubling the dose halves the amount of fuel treated.
Boost! helps clean injectors and provides added fuel-system lubrication. The label states a cetane increase of 7–9 points; results depend on the starting fuel and dose.
Refilling and dispensing
The included refill bottles are supplied empty. Their capacities do not add to the quantity of Boost! in this kit. Refill them from the included bulk container, measure the required dose and keep all containers clearly labeled and securely closed.
