Treatment and use
Measure XPD for the amount of diesel being added. The warm-weather rate above 32°F (0°C) is 1/4 US fl oz per US gallon. The listed cold-weather rate below 32°F (0°C) is 1/2 US fl oz per US gallon or more, as directed on the label. All measures are US units. The advertised “up to” treatment capacity uses the warm-weather rate.

For cold-weather protection, add XPD before the fuel reaches its cloud point. Mix while both fuel and additive are above the cloud point, generally above 40°F (5°C), and add during fueling for thorough mixing. XPD’s preventive anti-gel helps fuel flow down to −10°F, depending on the base fuel and conditions. It is a preventive treatment; add it before wax crystals form.
Refill and go
The included refill bottles are supplied empty. Their capacity does not increase the filled additive volume in this kit. Use the bulk container to refill the smaller bottles, measure the dose for each fill-up and keep containers clearly labeled and securely capped.
