Opti-Lube Winter is a diesel fuel additive formulated to support cold-weather fuel flow, injector cleaning and added fuel-system lubricity. It also helps separate water and protect against rust and corrosion.

Treatment and use
Measure the additive for the amount of diesel being treated. Below 32°F (0°C), use ¼ US fl oz per gallon of diesel. Below −20°F (−29°C), use ½ US fl oz per gallon or more, as directed on the container label. All volumes are US measures.
Mix while both the fuel and additive are above the fuel cloud point and at least 40°F (5°C). Treat before the fuel gels. Winter is a preventive anti-gel treatment; do not rely on it to restore fuel that has already gelled.
The label states that Winter helps fuel flow down to −40°F (−40°C), dependent on the base fuel. Cold-flow performance varies with the fuel and treatment rate; this is not a guaranteed operating temperature for every fuel. The label also lists a 3-point cetane improvement; actual results depend on the fuel.
Refilling and dispensing
The included refill bottles are supplied empty. Their capacities do not add to the quantity of Winter in this kit. Refill from the bulk container, measure the required dose and keep all containers clearly labeled and securely closed.
